Mike is a public sector specialist. He has worked with individuals and groups of staff, customers, client groups, managers and elected representatives as part of many assignments at a very wide range of organisations, including government departments (including DTI and the Benefits Agency), the British Army and The Royal Air Force, several universities, NDPBs, private sector companies and all sizes and types of local authorities.

Mike works well with staff at all levels and has a relaxed style coupled with a pragmatic approach. His preferred working pattern over many years is to use facilitated workshops with staff groups to improve public service quality. He has a talent for finding innovative solutions and improvements, and for building staff ownership of, and commitment to, those changes. He has spoken at many seminars and national conferences on BPR, SLAs, and related business improvement topics.
